If you’re looking for quality dining and drinking options in your countrywide travels, Air Canada can help your cause with its just-released list of Canada’s Best New Restaurants. On Thursday, October 26, Air Canada’s enRoute Magazine and presenting partner American Express revealed its highly coveted annual Top 10 list at a food and photo op-filled party at the Queen Richmond Centre in Toronto.

The list is the product of a panel of industry experts who considered every new bistro, pub, and café across the country to generate a delicious selection of restaurants for one writer to visit. This took the (very lucky) food critic on a month-long culinary journey from coast to coast, sampling an eclectic cuisine that included everything from steak and seafood, to gourmet burgers and photo-worthy salads. The list of the country’s top 10 new restaurants reduced from a larger list of 30.

Restaurants that opened their doors from summer 2017 to summer 2018 were eligible for the accolade – an initiative that also includes sponsors Acura Canada, Diageo World Class Canada, and Nespresso.

Here’s a complete list of fresh new spots in our home and native land to add to your restaurant list.
